Even a sunny warm Saturday day didn't deter about 140 kids from participating in the Archaeology Fair at the JACC on March 29. The free event, organized by the Friends of the Alaska State Museum, and ran by experts from several organizations and agencies, included such diverse activities as making petroglyphs and stone tools, mapping an archaeological site and decoding ancient trash leftovers.
